SORDONI operates in a 1200 m2 covered factory. Almost all of the production cycles are carried out internally. Therefore, in addition to a technical design office, there is a highly respectable machine park made up of milling and boring machines, machining centers, lathes, grinding machines, etc., all naturally C.N. It also has a carpentry department and a painting department. The metrology room completes our facilities. It is entrusted with checks on the quality of the details before assembly.
SORDONI was founded immediately after the war (1946) by Mr. Sordoni Bruno as a workshop that deals with various sectors, from agricultural machinery (very early days) to industrial machines for marble processing (late 1950s), aggregate processing (1960s and 1970s) always interspersed over time with the construction of “special” machines of various kinds and for various industrial sectors (footwear, mechanics, food, chemistry, etc.).
With the advent of automation (late 1970s), SORDONI increasingly dedicated itself to the construction of "custom" automatic machines, mainly addressing the more purely "mechanical" sectors such as chip removal and alloy drawing.
In 1992 Mr. Bruno passed away prematurely, leaving the company to his son Marcello who had been part of the staff since 1978, first in the workshop and then in the technical office.
The patent for an innovative operating unit dates back to 1998, which leads the company to present itself on the market with this type of product and with transfer machines equipped in this sense.
Since 2005 he has been part of the Saverio company (third generation) which deals with the design and more purely technical-organizational aspects.
In 2006 the company celebrated its first 60 years of activity with the spirit and enthusiasm of any beginner. After all, this was and is our strength: the passion for what we do, transmitted, over time, to many fantastic collaborators who, in various capacities, have lived or are living this splendid story with us.
